SRS light bulb pull

i need to get my SRS light off so i can pass inspection. it asnt a problem in cali, but for some reason the hawaiins give a dam. so how do i get to the bulb? please dont say dash teardown

go to a dealership or any local shop that has a snap-on scan tool, and they can reset your code and get rid of the light

Sometimes the SRS light comes after the battery is disconnected and reconnected when there is nothing wrong with the system. If you are sure there is nothing wrong, the light can be reset by turning the ignition on and off ten times within like ten seconds.

UPDATE - the on/off with the ignition 10 times didn't work with my Eclipse, so maybe it's just the 3000GT.

taking the bulb out, doesn't get rid of the error code.... just saying...

And another thing, some places wont inspect it if they get no light at all, so pulling the bulb might not get you through either.

i dont really care about the error message, i just needed it to pass inspection, which it did. as for what you said stealthee i guess they just dont give a dam. hooray for carefree hawaiins!
