97 Jetta wont move! HELP!

this car has some issues to begin with but runs well. this week the fan belt broke. ac compressor froze up. went to junkyard, new ac compressor, new fan belt. car starts and idles fine but once you put it in gear and take your foot off the clutch to move the car stalls. mass airflow censor thing was checked and cleaned. had tune up, new spark plugs, wires that deal a few months back. my bf is good with cars and did a bunch of maitenance type work on it but he cannot fix this. the issues i mentioned before are the airbag light is on (never investigated why), check engine light on (O2 censors), blinkers dont work (tried changing bulbs, still dont work), loss of power steering in rain, and left front tire makes noise. this car is used for a paper route and as long as it goes ill drive it. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
