Let's talk about hood removal.

About a year ago, some kind soul backed into my driver's front fender. It's ugly.

I'd like to replace it, but it looks to me like I'm going to have to pull the hood off to get there.

Tell me I don't have to. Please. I beg you.

99 GTP Sedan. I don't think that the mileage matters on this one :)

i believe your going to have to pull hood off just mark around the 4 bolts and pull it off. when marking the 4 bolts like i said mark around them and when you go to put it back on have one your bud's help you it's not a hard job at all. i took off quite a few off in my day's then you might have to lossen it to get them to line up and really it's easier than you would think. i use my test like to mark around the bolts before taking off.

yes, you do have to remove the hood. the 2 bolts that hold the hinges for the hood also hold the fender on.

as stated before...the hood is not really a huge deal. just leave the bolts fairly loose, let the hood down but dont latch it all the way...get it all lined up and tighted the bolts down.
