since most of the members in here live in the south or west coast.... i live in mich oakland co. clarkston to those how my live close.the mods i plan on doing to my car are pretty simple but thats not always the case if someone could help me that knows what they are doing and saying i would be glad to pay or by the beer to help out because i refuse to take it some where thats going to run me a arm and a leg ....... so if there anybody that has some free time let me know i will be checking this post....... The 3800 is a relatively easy motor to work on. I dont think you would have any issues doing mods yourself.

One issue for a DIY is the special puller tool needed to change the S/C pulley. The PCM is a plug and play mod. The exhaust work is your biggest obstacle if you don't have access to a hoist. Doing exhaust work on the ground sucks!
