Trans problem

I just bought a 2001 Eclipse GT Spyder about 2 weeks ago. For about 2 days the automatic trans. is making a creaking noise (almost like compressing a rust spring) if that makes any sense. I hear it in when I put it in reverse and when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd and for 2nd to 3rd. Trans also shifts hard its done that sense the 1st day we bought it. Car has clean trans fluid in it. thanks for any help.

Also does anyone know anyone who can get the radio codes?
