What's your poison?

Basically this is a thread to share drinks. What's some of your favorites?

I like simple drinks.

Vodka and Red Bull:

1 - 8.3 ounce can of Red Bull
4 shots of Vodka

Mix and serve over ice.





Rum and Coke

12 ounces of Coke
6 shots of rum

Mix and serve over ice.




Fuzzy Fucker:

1 Part Peach Schnapps
1 Part Vodka
2 Parts Sunny Delight


Mix and serve over ice.




Ruby Relaxer:

1 Shot Vodka
1 Shot Peach Schnapps
1 Shot Malibu Rum (coconut or banana)
Pineapple juice
Cranberry Juice

Add alcohol, fill with pineapple juice, add a splash of cranberry juice.

take a 32oz glass and add
8 oz vodka
6 oz peach schnapps
6 oz triple sec
top off with orange juice and a splash of grenadine


I also like
take a highball and add ice
add jameson until full

I like beer,Coors Light most of the time.Jim Beam whiskey and Coke is another another one I like.

I don't really have any favorites. I tend to drink what's available, but I do like to mix Whiskey with any lemon lime soda,add some triple sec and ice.
I also make my own coffee liqueur which I bottle up. I add a couple shots of that to some strong coffee, and add some amaretto. I then top that off with some vanilla ice cream.
Oh and I'm also partial to Bully Hill Sweet Walter Red Wine, made by a local vineyard. (It's great living in the Finger Lakes area of NY loaded with wineries.:lol: )

We've been partial lately to either having some spicy V8 (or Clamato) in our beer or to mixing 2 shots whiskey, 1 shot blackberry brandy and 12oz of your favorite cola over ice. 1 shot rum and 1 shot coconut rum over the same works well also.

I like my beer. But Jack(sometimes mixed or street),Jim, and Jose have known to be friend's as well at times.

I'll stick with the basics:

a shot of Tequila
a lick of salt
and a squeeze of lime

repeat as necessary until you end up like fredjacksonsan

I drink beer and beer only. A bad experience has ruined hard alcohol for me. I DO recommend Lindemann's Lambic Frambois. My favorite beer.

I'll drink pretty much anything, bourbon & coke is a favourite, also beer, wine.....

Depends on my mood.

Dark beer: 1554, Mississippi Mud, Amber Lager, Red Trolly, something foreign or random micro brew

Light: Red Stripe, Sapporo or random mirco brew

Mixed drink:
If I'm feeling up to the task:
Singapore Sling

* 4.0 cl (8 parts) Gin
* 2.0 cl (4 parts) Heering Cherry Liqueur (cherry brandy)
* 0.5 cl (1 part) Cointreau
* 0.5 cl (1 part) DOM Bénédictine
* 1.0 cl (2 parts) Grenadine
* 8.0 cl (16 parts) Pineapple juice
* 3.0 cl (6 parts) Fresh lemon juice
* 1 dash Angostura bitters


Most of the time it's just rum and coke, or Gin + Cointreau and what ever fruit punch/juice is in the fridge :lol:.

My friend who is a behemoth of a man insists on taking Man Shots on special holidays like 4th of July or New Years.

Man Shot:
Step 1: Squeeze lemon in your eye
Step 2: Snort a little bit of salt
Step 3: take a shot of Tequila
Step 4: Get Punched in the face.

As far as beer goes, I like Coors light as a plain beer. I used to drink Sparks a lot, but have now switched to Dragon Joose. 3 cans will fuck you up....24 ounces at 9.9% alcohol:

Bad drink mixture: Plum wine with with ANYTHING.
I had some left over from a dinner date, so I looked up mix recipes. All tasted like ass. The only one that was semi tolerable was plum wine with club soda and grape juice. So down the drain went the overly sweet plum substance.

There are some decent microbrew beers out there that are boasting 9%-13% alc. Most are unbearable.

There is a Vokda called Firefly (http://www.superwinewarehouse.com/r/products/firefly-distillery-sweet-tea-vodka?utm_source=google;utm_medium=base). It tastes like iced tea. Don't drink it straight, it's concentrated. I mix it with soda water and lemonade. Tasty.

Not sure if this is considerd a pussy's drink in the USA, but man do i love black russians

3 shots of vodka
3 shots of kahlua
2 shots of cola - pretty sure there is meant to be more coke, but i dont worry about it to much.

I also love some mead, it can be abit impotent, so i add a good cup of vodka to a bottle.
As for beers, we mostly get waterd crap here in australia, but there a few imports there are nice. From wychwood, there is the hobgoblin, a stunning rich dark brew. and there a local one i like, its called Beez kneez or somthing like that.

I'm just a beer kinda guy. Goose Island 312, Bud Light, Hoegaarden, Stella Artois... all winners.

However, when I was in Hawaii, they had this banana rum thing that I've been trying to find how to make. Was so good and pretty mean to you after 2 big ones.

Half and half for the most part - not only have I aquired a liking to it but it's nice to be in the minority of interest

My two main get drunk drinks are

- cap'n and coke
- OJ and vodka

I can pay 7 bucks for a 1/5 of vodka (shitty obvi but the OJ hides that) and OJ, and have a great night. cap'n and coke will be about 17ish

Im heading to Pantana Bob's tonight; a lovely establishment where you pay 6 bucks cover then drink free beer for the rest of the night. I think it's Busch light or something similar, but for 6 bucks I'm not complaining

I like rum, and I like Root Beer..... figured what the hell? It was pretty shitty. I really learned my lesson about experimenting with drinks........ Hopefully dinner will get rid of the taste. We're having pizza with pepperoni, beer and chocolate cake on it. :icon16:
