Just to clarify, You want a V8 that has a timing chain. You do not want a timing belt.
Chrysler offers the hemi in a couple of sedans, Pontiac offers the G8, Cadillac has the northstar V8.

You indicated that you're in the UK. Jaguar 32 valve V8s have timing chains.

Why not a timing belt?
I've never had a problem with cars with timing belts at all.
If you're after a V8 over here in the UK, what about the Vauxhall (Holden) Monaro? They do a 6.0 Supercharged version with around 500 lb/ft of torque.:bigthumb:

Well my dads had many cars, one of which he's got atm is an R8 and that's chain driven instead of belt driven, and he says performance wise a reliabilty wise it's amazing compared to his GT3 RS....so he wants another one....but a saloon type, Passat, A6, 5 series, something along those lines so it's got to be a diesel lol
