5 sp manual question

planning on buying the '94 base model, has the 5 speed manual. question is, i'm familiar with a stick from a '67 pickup 3 speed column shifter, is it going to be quite difficult to get used to the 5 speed floor shifter as far as responsiveness and sensitivity?

man those r ancient. no u shouldnt have to much of a problem. the 3ks shifter and linkage combo r smooth, finding the gears r easy and the throws r relitivly short. ull be fine man

If you can drive a 3 on the tree then you can easily drive a synchronized 5 speed on the floor.

thanx guys for the info, i feel a lot more confident now. like i said i've driven stick fine, but never on a newer vehicle. oh and thanx for not flaming me too.
