What exactly is the difference between "Current" and "History" as it relates to the trouble codes?

When does a "current" code become "history"?

Is a "history" code one that was detected in a previous drive cycle but not the last one?

My codes are:

P039 HISTORY
I039 HISTORY
T02[7] CURRENT
T025 HISTORY

P039 = Torque Converter Clutch Engagement Problem
I'm hoping a new solenoid will fix that, need to order the part. Did partial fluid change and installed new filter. Fluid was red. On one portion of the pan there was a stain that was darker and harder to remove than the rest of the fluid. If the pan is "L" shapped, it was on the inside corner, if I remember correctly. Does that signify anything?

I039 = Loss of Road Sensing Suspenssion Data
I assume that's due to having passive struts and not the original computerized ones. I'm not really worried about this one.

T025 = LF Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity Fault
T025 = LF Wheel Speed Sensor Fault
Installed a new LF hub assembly and replaced break pads. I'm guessing there is a short or ground in the wire between the wheel and the computer. I plan to test that for continuity tonight.
