96' dodge Ram 2500 4x4 front axle

I have a Dana front axle in my Ram 2500. I'm trying to replace the seals. How do you remove the carrier unit from the axle housing? I have removed the two caps and pulled the axles out but I can't seem to get the unit to come loose.

As far as I know, the Dana 60 carrier should pull straight out, I'll do some checking tomorrow.

you need to pry it out, usually you need to install a spreader but not many people have one.

You did also remove the intermediate axle shaft too correct?
