Not my car, sorry if I scared you guys. :lol2:

I'm always keeping my eye on repairables that I could buy and sell for more. I found this one in my area.

Whats the concensus? It does not seem like the typical max adapt long shift problem. Although, if that simple fix could cure it, I might look into buying it.

Might be worth 1000.00, right?

Bob, Rich, Troy, what do you guys think?

That car looks just like mine. I would think the tires and wheels alone would be worth about $600. If I could fix transmissions, I would get it.

Thats what I thought too. Also has an aftermarket deck and amp and subbs, that if it were my car would get sold. They might be a good selling point to some punk teenager (no offence to anyone). So I dont know. If I could get the car to shift ok, it might be a good way to pay off my student loan.

Troy the 4t65e tranny man, are you out there?

I'd say it needs a 1-2 shift solenoid (but I'd replace them all), PCS, TCC, and shift kit and it'd be good to go. With that mileage, it's probably only worth $3500-$4000 or so, but that would be a quick $2k if you can do the solenoids yourself.

Thats what I was thinking Rich. I should almost have him go get it scanned for codes and then offer him 1000.00 depending on what it comes back with. I'm just afraid that the trans tech that scans it will convince him that it just needs a shift solonoid, he'd fix it, and keep it.

I could always part it out and probably recover my 1000.00 if not more.
