You chose the wrong car to think this up on. If you want to hook up your malibu you better be prepared to do a ton of custom work. Especially for a turbo.

Not that I'm aware of. The trans will not be able to handle any major modification. The car could be pretty quick with a couple bolt ons. I would start with a full exhaust, intake and search for cams. By full exhaust I don't mean just a catback.

I hope it's not a fleabay chip. Try seeing if you can build a "megasquirt" kit for your car. It's a SAFC (stand alone fuel controller). That's probably the best way to go. Check ebay for the header(s) and let me know what brands you come up with. I'll let you know if they're any good. I found some company, but I cannot remember. It was a long time ago.
Yeah... keep in mind it's headers if it's a V6. It would only be a header on a 4 cylinder or inline 6. Some inline 6 engines have 2 manifolds.
I know a lot about making anything go fast. I'm telling you now so it doesn't become such a shock later... don't waste your time. Keep it as a nice daily driver or buy something that has a wider variety for aftermarket parts. Unless you know how to weld, tune your vehicle and really know what other electronics from other cars you can use... this car will never be fast.
You want a good project. Find a 3.8 GTP or Regal motor and put it in. It's a bigger block and it's super charged. They make a ton of parts for those. That engine also comes in the later Impala SS, Buick Riviera, and something else. It should be easy to find.

yeah its not a fleabay chip jet and hyperchip makes one the jet one has 2 stage levels as for headers i have yet to find any i have made my own headers before but for a small block in a truck that has alot more room to work with. I know the maxx ss has the 3.9 L but i can't find any parts for them either. Also anybody that has driven one of these cars knows they are quick to start with why gm just didn't put the 3.8 in it like the rest of there cars is beyond me :screwy:
