Removing engine...

Have not attempted this yet...How hard is it...in reality is it a two man job...I have done my research and its something i think i can do on my own...I need to remove the motor to install a coolant steam pipe...the guy who did my 4.3 to 5.7 swap neglected to put this part on..any suggestions or tips from the everyday engine removers...

my father did an engine swap all by himself not too long ago...so yes it is possible to do it yourself, but it does help to have another person. just make sure you rent a good engine lift :iceslolan

you mention a coolant steam pipe...since this needs replacing I would get another opinion on this......

If you have a used part from a junk yard post a picture as I think J Cat is correct that it can be installed with the engine in the car.
