Mustang Exhaust System

I need to replace the exhaust system on my '90 Mustang 5.0 and would like to eliminate the catylatic converters. I'd like to know if anyone else has done this successfully and what impact it had on the performance of the engine.

We have no vehicle inspections in my state:smile:

Lots have done it. That being said, I prefer to run cats and be a little kinder to my environment. Check out Summit Racing or JEGS - there are all kinds of combinations out there you can buy.
