AXOD pressure check

Does any one know where the plugs are for the pressures test on The AXOD tranny. I would like to see if the pump is smoked before I go further with it because of the 10 hrs to play musical transmissions. You see I know that is a Taurus I can get to the pump/valve body with a little jacking and tinkering. I know the pump is working but I dont know how well.
And as long as we are at it, does any one have the Shift solenoid on/off condition table. On the 97 axod tranny wasn’t there a mod to the program plate gasket to prevent erosion from plugging up the solenoid? If that is true,,,, you think that I could just change the solenoid and not have it get plugged up again? (thinking the gasket is already gone)

This is the problem; Car came in running just fine with 139k. Problem was at WOT starts in any range the darn thing would jump in and out of first gear (low pressure) Changed fluid and filter and the darn thing worked perfect for three days and about 100 miles. Now the darn thing will not go into first unless you back up a little then quickly go into first. First idea that came to mind was a problem with the range selection ckt. Because it acts just like a Ford does with an open. Nope!
Checked electrical and mechanical function of the shift solenoids, all at 20 ohms and making a nice clicking when turned on. Pressure control solenoid is working. SO I guess that I am stuck with either; bad solenoid CKT or computer (not likely) bad pump, plugged solenoid, or broken 1sr/revers servo. I am going to test the electrical signals to the tranny in a couple of hrs and was just hopping for the pressure test point by the time I am don doing that. But without the on/off table, it won’t tell me much.
Last but not least, cash is a big concern on this one, so I don’t think that they will go with a re-build besides the wiring harness being different (changing it will not be a problem) Wont any 96-99 AXOD work. Like I said changing the temp sensor etc is not a problem

Well It took me long enough to find all the info that I needed. You see I ask some times because my Hill-billey dial up only connects at 22 to 26.4. so surfing and down loading PDFs is a long process; that is why every now and then I ask a question.

Main pressure is by the cooler lines and should be around 90-125lbs. Shift noids are 1st #2, 2nd gear is #1,#2. 3rd gear is all off, 4th gear is #1,#3. the main difference in the 91-98 tranny is that there is a High and low resistance pulsed and non pulsed TCC noid. So that is not a problem to change. After testing… WITHOUT a transmission tester. Best guess is that the 1st/reverse band is SMOKED/glazed I believe that before I took care of the leaks, they had a few cans of transx or something in it. (I wish they had told me). I just paid attention to the old fluid I changed and it had an orange tint.

The only problem is that the musical transmission song on these darn things is like 12 hrs. That hole system makes me want to slap the crap out of the engineers that came up with that system. Then nock some sense into them. I am confident that it works very well for factory assembly, but customers are worried about maintenance cost. But on the plus side I just checked the junk yard and there is a good one with 111k on that has the engine already pulled and for 96$ it is worth the gamble, 60$ worth of seals filters and fluid and it should be in business

YE HAA!
