Hey guys, I've tried searching the forum as well as other websites for answers but found nothing, so please any help will be highly appreciated.
My 90 Supra turbo 5spd idles ok and everything else seems ok, but i noticed that when i start driving and floor the gas, the car beings to break up very badly (as if its hitting fuel cut),doesn't go above ~4.5k rpm at all and the boost gauge reads a pinch over 0 and doesn't go any higher. I changed spark plugs, wires, cleaned the MAF sensor throughly and even swapped the coil packs and no luck. Forgot to mention that its not throwing a CEL at all and I occasionally see puffs of black smoke after I come off the accelerater. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks in advance guys and and again any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks again.

sounds like youve got an air leak to me somewhere between your turbo and the engine intake, check your Intercooler lines e.c.t.

Car was fixed right after i posted, but thanks anyway. It turned out to be just that, a boost leak from a rather larger crack in the rubber intercooler piping from the turbo to the intercooler.
