stupid steering wheel

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, but when my steering wheel gets wet ( usually from humidity. I live in florida.) it gets sticky and flakes off. Wondering if there is a fix without buying a new steering wheel?

What are you driving? An airbag equipped car throws a whole new spin on things then.

Checked Ebay for steering wheels? I picked up a brand new never used one for my '93 GP.

Checked the junkyards for one better than what you got?

yea it has an airbag. but its not worth the effort of replacing, I was just hoping to maybe seal it somehow. Thanks.

Just get a steering wheel cover mine was doing the same thing and it is sticky and gummy, so I got the steering wheel cover at auto zone. At first I thought it would not fit but you have to stretch the cover to get to fit.

Hmmmm, I've never had issues.

BTW, ZZP has some used steering wheels for sale for a pretty good price.
