because i think that my oil pressure guage it wacked out. its reading 0 and im pretty sure the wire is connected to the oild sender unit (ill find out later) but if i do change them out for good aftermarket gauges is there a how-to somehwere? or should i just mout a pillar gauge pod insted?? more then likely its either the wire is not making good connection or the sender got clogged (prolly silicone, cuz its a brand new sender unit.

also the oild pressure light in the cluster never came on and there wasnt any loud lifter noise and the engin sounded fine, so i no i have oil pressure.

yea, the stock OP gauge is crap. Mine was always reading low, but my AM one rarely drops below 20psi.
you'll have to pull off the dash. there's a how to on stealth316.

I don't suggest the A pillar for mounting gauges. For one I think it's tacky. And two, they are damn expensive at over $150 for a good one. I'd agree that all the gauges in the center suck, not just the oil pressure. Before worrying that it's low, especially if the oil light isn't on, I'd make sure with a proper gauge. Then I'd mount them in the stock location. Here's a good guide for you:
