97 pontiac gp door lock problem

yes, i can not get my rear door open on my 97gp. it is locked and will not open, anyone having any ideas to unlock door to get panel off to find the problem? the gp has electric door locks.

Is that from both the inside or outside? It sounds like the rod from the door handle to the latch is disconnected. If you remove the rear passenger seat bottom cushion you should be able to remove the door panel.
