ok so this is gonna be hard to discribe but ive been having the wierdest problem. So when my car is not fully warmed up and i drive it, at about 2600 rpm or so in every gear the car starts bogging out/falling on its face. It doesnt happend all the time but it has been happening at least once a day for the past week or so, but it has been happening for the past couple months now. I replaced my plugs and wires about 8 months ago because i had some bad spark knock when i turned up the boost. I have been thinking of alot of different things and ive come up with maybe coil packs, possibly bad gas???, or maybe a loose belt or bad tensioner. If anyone has any other ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

is it when u get on it?? or just even normal driving. mine did that and it turned out that the crank angle sensor was rubbing and grounding the engine out on the ac belt. uhhh could also be a bad ground somewhere slse. try adding fuel injector cleaner. does the check engine light come on??

could be either coil packs or module. but when they go bad it usually an all the time thing. o and check all vacume lines

uhhh if it were the belts they might be squeaking. that doesnt sound lika belt issue tho. make sure u use supreme and shell is the best gas imo. ummm does it do anything else when it bogs down

It happens driving normal and no theres no check engine light. Ya i only use shell v power. And bogs down is a very generous way of putting it, it feels almost like the cars (heart) stops beating for a sec if that makes sense at all. It completely falls on its face and sputters. It almost sounds like its backfiring while it happens also. I thought about the grounding issue and now that you brought it up also i think that will be the next thing im gonna check out. Thanks for your help!! If you come up with any other ideas please let me know!!

Thanks again
Alex

When is the last time you changed your fuel filter?
How is your fuel pressure?

Dirty plugs could be the effect of impurities burning off. Sediments can be the cause as well.

Coolant leaking through a lower intake manifold could also be a cause of this symptom.
I read that you changed your fuel pump recently!?
Usually, you would want to change the fuel filter and the sock in the gas tank when changing the fuel pump. A restricted filter can cause damage to that nice new pump.
A fuel filter should be changed every couple oil changes or 3000 - 5000 miles.
Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. I would start there.
Fuel pressure testing never hurt nothing.
