Hey gys, im gonna be chanigng out the vc gasket this weekend bc there are traes of oil seeping from the one ont here, and also over a long period of time coolant seems to be disapeering, so im gonna change that and narrow down the listof what could be the problem...
Anyways, quick to the point, do i need to replace anything else while im in there? routine maintenance wise...like is there naything on eclipse engines that has a nack for wearing out that wouldnt be abad idea to replace? like the spark plug seals...ect.?
thanks!

Spark plug well seals should come with the gaskit. But yea you should replace them. Thats it for the VC job. Make sure to put sealent on the right parts of the gaskit. Also dont overtorque the VC bolts.

Replace the PCV valve while you've got it off too. It's only a couple bucks for a new one. And definitely be sure not to over torque the valve cover like Silver said. It would make for a bad day. lol

You may have removed the system that properly vents it back into the intake and such, but it still needs to vent the crankcase pressure out... Mine just runs a line to my catch can. Where is yours running to now then?
