I need some help with a several issues.
First- The vehicle has pulled to the right for the last three years I have owned it even after three alignments. Just a few days ago the pull to the right is worse than ever, if you leave go of the wheel it is off the road.
Second- My AWD encoder motor was replaced six months ago. Back in January my AWD went out completely and my "service AWD" light came on and upon starting the vehicle the AWD module clicks.
Third-The entire vehicle sits lower that when I bought it. I also notice that if I hit and substantial bumps on the road the vehicle is all over the place. Shocks?
Any answers or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Go to another alignment shop and ask them if they can make yours quit pulling to the right or left...then hold them to it, maybe get something in writing before starting the job.
Sounds like sticking parts. Have you flushed the transfer case with GM Autotrac blue fluid? If not it needs to be done then flushed again with more Autotrac blue in a coupla hundred miles.
Sounds like shocks to me too.

Thanks for your time and input.
I will take it to a shop and hold them to it.
When the encoder motor was replaced, the autotrac fluid was replaced. I will tell the garage to flush and put new in today.
I figured the shocks are shot also.

You were correct. It turned out the "commercial" place we went for alignment didn't do the job well. Also, the idler arm and pitman arm need replaced.
Thanks
