Help!!! 94 caprice no acceleration at all

CAR WAS SITTING A YEAR AND A HALF I JUST CHANGED THE CAP AND ROTOR IN MY 94 CAPRICE 4.3 IT STILL WONT ACCELERATE I HAVE CHANGED FUEL FILTER THROTTLE POSITON SENSOR FUEL PUMP PLUGS AND WIRES ANY SUGGESTIONS OR WHAT COULD B THE PROBLEM COULD IT BE THE DISTRIBUTOR ITSELF ANY HELP WOULD B APPRECIATED IF I CANT GET IT TO WORK IM JUST GONNA JUNK OR SELL ALL THE PARTS OFF THE CAR ITS PISSIN ME OFF:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghe ad::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

the exhaust is restricted,,,,that means plugged..

Disconnect the exhaust before the CAT, and see if it goes any better. Hows the fuel. 1-1 1/2 yrs old. Does'nt sound good.

the cats are hollowed out wen i did that sum of the honey comb did blow out of the exhausht pipe could the muffler b clogged because of that? Oh and when i tried to accelerate it earlier it accelerated a little nothin major not even enough to move the car and the service engine light came on any more suggestion im out of ideas myself

It is almost certain that the muffler could be plugged. Disconnect the exhaust behind the CAT. If exhaust can not exit.... It's like a pressure cooker.
Fuel pressure seems to be a big deal here as well. Look at the other threads. Get the readings and post. The guys on this forum are really sharp.

ok i did sumthing dumb on my part i didnt tigheten the egr after i cleaned it not it accelerates better but still not how its suppose to still not enough to move the car but it accelerates better in park and neutral

Scan for error codes. That should be a good indication.

the 94 is obd1 isnt it? And where would i get it scanned autozone only does obd2

rodents like to build nests in exhaust systems.
The cats were no restriction on the 4.3l.
Old gas can cause a LOT of problems.

A scan would pick up the low- and high-resolution crank pulses from the Opti.
