I have a janspeed twin pipe, it is mild steel, cost me £160 delivered which is about $240 for just the rear silencer, it looks good but sounds too quiet, I wouldnt suggest this exhaust as it is expensive, rusty within 4 months and is too quiet :(

on my 91 I have the APEXi WS cat back system. it was $450, I got it at a local performance shop, brand new in the box. The WS is nice and quite. you can really hear the intake over it, and it makes the car sound very nice. no buzzing or whinning from the exhaust.

On my 92 I have the APEXi DUNK 115 cat back system. it was $500, I got it on eBay, brand new in the box. The DUNK 115 is a bit loud, not as loud as the N1. it has a real nice low tone to it, nice and deep, throaty sound.

I got my header from these guys:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2410716202&category=33631
It bolted right up, although you should use the two-nut method (put two nuts on one stud, tighten them against each other, and then use them as a head) to tighten up the studs.
I didn't do this the first time, and a week later two of the studs and all of the nuts fell off. Get those studs tight before you put it on. (I'm talking about the studs that join the two pieces)
Took about two hours. Fit perfectly. I did have to spend $7 for another exhaust donut, and since it was an aftermarket product, I had to go through the box at the parts store to find the donut that fit right.
The ceramic coating works great. No melted wires, etc...all that heat goes right out the exhaust pipe.

PS-That's Megan racing, or built4race on eBay.
PPS-Oh yeah, I had to buy an exhaust manifold gasket. Motor looks sooo much better without that ugly heat shield.

i got ghetto exhaust...3.5" tip with 12" glasspack that's all. surprising not loud at all and sounds decent. only cost $50. would have gotten something nice, but this car isn't going to have any real work done to it for at least 3-4 years. going to try to build a 5g hatch first
