I just bought a 95 Voyager with a 3.3 and the check engine light came on after running for about 10 min. It seems to come on more by time then distance travelled. Anyway I tried to plug in my scan gage to check for codes but I look all over under the instrument panel and can't find where to plug it in. Can somebody please tell me where to plug it in. Also I seem to remember from long ago that sometimes the check engine light will come on just due to exceding a certain mileage (my Van has 137,000 mi) and that doing some sequence with the key off and on will reset the light? Does anybody know if this is true and what the sequence is? Thanks alot for your help!

It' OBD1 and the connector is in the engine compartment. The light you are referring to is the EMR light (emission maintenance reminder) That came on at different mileage intervals to let you know that certain emissions conponents needed to be checked or replaced.

Thanks a lot, can you tell me where under the hood the plug is for the scangage? I've looked and looked and can't seem to find it. I'm used to my chevy Venture that has it under the instrument panel. Thanks again.

It is on the drivers side betwen the fuse box and the hood hinge. This is the male connector that you would plug into it that is attached to a scan tool.
