Changing out freeze plugs on Trooper

Hey was wondering is it easy to change out freeze plugs on these troopers?

What year/engine? They are all REAL easy with the engine out! Not so easy with the engine in. Hard to get to and not much space to drive brass plugs in with engine still in car. You could get the rubber replacement freeze plugs that you just have to tighten the nut and it compresses the plug and tightens it in the hole.

95 i believe its a 3.2 L. But yea my friend told me he was going to take the tranny out and do it. I have no experience in freeze plugs but know enough that the engine might have to come out
