this is driving me nuts.....

I have a 1987 ciera cruiser originaly the car had a 2.8 and i swap that for a 1990 3.3 i pulled out the 3.3 with tranny and the wiring harness with the ecu too ok , i got the dash wiring harness from a 1991 3.3 with the speedo everything fit perfect even the steering colunm but i dont have power at all, my question is should i get the engine wiring harness from the 1991 3.3? Because i have no horn no lights no nothing, where did i go wrong? It does'nt even crank, what can i do to make this work? Oh did i mention that the harness of the 1990 3.3 somebody jump with speaker wires the fan to start the car i had to put the ignition switch on and started that had to the starter, please give and idea of how i could solve this. A guy even told that i have to change the sender unit, meaning that i would have to start all this work from back to front, i thank you for trying to help me in this project. Thank's

Start with the basics do you have power to the distribution box under the hood that powers up ign and accessories?

hey max, i went and got the ecu and the whole wiring harness from the same 1991 ciera 3.3 and still have the same problem i have power going to the relays but that's about it, no lights,no horn no power at all going to the fuse box i was thinking about running a positive to the switch or maybe to the main in the fuse box, any other ideas? thanks.

Get a wiring diagram at autozone.com, repair guides and track the main feed circuits.
