99 Grand Cherokee problem with 2nd gear

Hello when My automatic all wd transmisson changes to 2nd gear the Jeep stutters and shakes but when it changes to hi gear it runs fine.any help would be greatly appreciated also it takes off in low gear fine.

OK so you have all wheel drive...what engine and how many miles?
When you say it shudders changing to 2nd gear...does the engine miss or run rough? Or does the shifting seem odd and seem to go back to 1st then back to 2nd? Is the shudder a rapid vibration or a slow one?
