Air Bag Code

Does anyone know what a 24 air bag code is on a 99 gen 3?
Any idea how to fix?

Lamp Flashout Code 24/DTC B1342 — ECS Module Internal Fault

This indicates that the Electronic Crash Sensor Module needs to be replaced if there is a continuous code in the module.
You might want to get someone to hook a scan tool to it to verify this.
If you get the B1342, you need a new ECU Module.
It is located under the dash of your 99 Taurus.

My 94 Tuarus GL Air Bag light has been flashing for a week now. It gives me 1 flash and a long pause, then 1 flash and a short pause, and 1 flash and another short puase. Then the pattern repeats. Is that an Air Bag code 12? or 21? Or is there no correlation between the flashes and the code? Any ideas on what causes this flashing, or how to fix it without paying the dealer $300 - $400 to do something I can do myself. I would really appreciate any assistance the users of this forum might have.
