Does anyone here know anything about ARII model kits. Re quality, realism, correct scale, etc.?
Thanks,
Trevor

It really depends on the kit. The musclecar kits are below average at best. You'd think with features like opening doors, they'd be leaders in detailing, but they're not. The Cadillac kits were benchmarks in the 90's. Be aware of these things and don't overpay for them. Once built, you'll have some nice shelf models.

I have some ARII '70s Corvettes tucked away, somewhere, they were simple (curbside) and all but one year was really pretty accurate (wish I could recall now, but the one that wasn't was cast in yellow plastic and the body was too short in length.) The rims on all were particularly good IMO.

Too bad they were 1/24. They fit only with Monogram kits (but not the 59 Eldorado) on the same shelf. AMT and MPC must sit stand at a distance.
