Nice build, nice background story too, optimism was high (no pun intended) in those days :screwy:. I have owned 2 of those cars, later models tho 126bis, took one from UK to sothern Italy & back via portugal on the way and Munich (:cheers:) on the way back in '81, it was a catalogue of breakdowns, repairs, and mishaps and that was on paved roads :iceslolan. The thought of taking one to Africa :eek7::loser:...
