I am currently looking for cars, and this is one on my list. I am sure i could find one for cheap. Do any of you own one? How is your luck with it? I know most Japanese cars are extremely reliable, but this one could have some problems. Does it run good...even with 100,000 miles? Any comments/suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

rotary engines do tend to be more sensitive if you dont take good care of the them. But if you change the oil every 2k miles, and all the other stuff, it will be very dependable as a street racing machine or a casual transportation. Most RX-7 owners i have encountered are pretty hardcore owners. Some have owned over 5 RX-7s in the past and know alot about rotary engines, so what i'd recommend is if your getting one, check his back ground info and stuff.

if it has over 100k miles on it and it's tuned don't even bother, look in the auto trader if your location has one and find a standard one if all have more than 100k which is most likely to happen you'll need to swap a newer rotary to get it to be a "reliable" street machine.

I know people running over 150k miles on their Rex's. It would be best if the engine was rebuilt after 90k miles.
