hard to reach nut

what is the trick to removing the bottom nut on the intake manifold just below the pcv valve inlet. This is a 97 1.3L automatic engine.Is there a special tool or is it just a pain in the neck to remove.Thank you much ogoat.

When I removed those nuts I found it to be just a big pain in the butt. Also it's best to remove them when the engine is cool to the touch. I want to say that there is probably some special tool out there but I just used a wrench and took my time. Taking the nuts off caused my hand to cramp a little. Hope this helps.
