92 Stealth Throttle sticking??

I am not sure exactly what the issue is. I just had a ECU put in couple weeks ago(for reason of car not starting). But now if I let the RPM go up to a certain rpm the throttle will stick and the speed will continue to rise and if I have it in nuetral or clutch in the rpm goes sound like its red lining. If I restart the car its still stuck in full open throttle. But I have to manually move the lever back then its ok till I hit that rpm again. My RPM gauge doesnt work since AAmco forgot to put it back in. Please help I am very confused

sounds like ur throttles sticking, it happened to me a few times. i greased the throttle cable and make sure its good going throught the cruise control box,. it could be a dirty throttle body or valve check it and clean it out

thanks i wd40 the cables and around the box- looks pretty clean but dang thing still does it but only does it when i am driving.

have u checked the throttle bod?? it may be dirty. also the throttle pos senser could be the culpret

Make sure your mat isnt getting stuck against your pedal.
