A/C Clicking Noise

I have a 2000 Chevy Venture with 140,000 miles. When I turn on the a/c, it makes a loud clicking noise but air is cold. When the a/c is off, there is no noise.
Is this the a/c clutch going out on me? If so, is it easy to replace myself?
