Springs - Searching for a smooth ride / mild drop

I need your assistance with purchasing my new spring set - I have a 94 civic coupe running on koni adjustable shocks (yellow ones), coilover 'Weapon R' and factory rims. Since, my coilovers are absolutely horrible (sucks) especially cruising in and around Boston - roads are harsh and brutal. I figure, I need new springs - a nice drop, nothing too fancy and something more important is a good ride comfort. (Time has change from University to Work 'toil'.) I'm considering Eibach, Neuspeed, Sprint (cause $ is a factor) and H&R. Anyone with Tein or Tenabe springs?

welp my friend, I too have posted this thread a number of times, I would say go with the Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline. If you want a different set of coilovers, I am not the man to take advice from. I ordered me some Tokico Illuminas and an Eibach pro-kit. for a 1.5-1.8" drop. Everyone on here claims it to be a sweet ride, we'll see...I've got sh*tty roads to deal with myself.

Just got my car lowered on Friday with eibach sportline springs(1.8") and KYB AGX gas shocks. I DO NOT NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IN RIDE QUALITY FROM STOCK! I dont know why but it is so smooth and so nice. I highly suggest getting these springs it has a nice drop to it... not too much at all just right. Howver it could be the shocks that gave me the geat ride but you have Koni's so who knows... but get the sportline drop. The mechanic who put them on and drove my car to the ailignment shop and back siad it was the smoothest riding lowred civic hes been in.

Eibach Pro kit. Firm, but comfortable.

eibach sportline drop is where its at... rides aweseome.... prokit isnt enough of a drop.

I guess my struggle is chosing between pro-kit or sportline. I'm looking for a drop of 1.5", anything greater will probably bring heahaches. I've heard that pro-kit settles to a drop of 1.5", which seems perfect.

You guys heard of sprint springs? I would like to consider them cause it's only for $115 - I'm looking forward towards keeping my car for a year and half only.

I'm using Merwede springs with a 1.5" drop. Just had it tested today thoroughly, and the ride was very good. I'm satisfied with how it handled. My shocks are still stock, though I think that the combination actually went very well.

Sprint springs suck. I had them on my 200SX. They rode good for a month, then they sagged and bounced like my wife's tits.

NEUSPEED SPORT springs, very nice ride.

Prokit is where its at. Just less than an inch of drop, with excellent ride quality. Sportlines are too stiff if youre concerned about ride.

don't blame your springs...
blame boston streets and the big dig ;)
my suggestion would be to get some ground control coilovers if your already running koni yellows.
