I just got a new exhaust for my '94 GT, and when i went to go have it put on the muffler guy told me that the fuel line (the rubber part that goes into the fuel tank) was too close to the exhaust and would melt if put on there. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what exhaust i should get so as to avoid this problem? Or what can i do to the fuel line?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Its not a cat-back, its just 2 HKS Dragon mufflers, with a 4.5" tip.

i put N1's on my car with no problem. The muffler is close to it but i have been driving it for 2 years like that already.

you could get some DEI heat wrap and wrap your fuel line.
or switch to braided stainless line.
or you could get someone to do your exh that will route it further away...
there's always options
