Hi. I have a 90 Bonneville SSE and the high beams cut out. Can anyone tell me where the fuse would be located? It doesn't seem to be in the fuse block under the steering column. You can email me directly if that's easier.... [email protected]

All your lights are controlled by the light monitor module

Thanks. Checked the two fuses you suggested and also the fuses behind the glove box but all seem OK. I just got this car recently and don't know if the lights below the grill are original equipment or aftermarket. My concern is that if they aren't OE, I could be in for a bad day tracing wiring.

It sounds like you may be describing the fog lights? If that is correct, they are turned on and off by a seperate switch. In the case of my 96 the switch is mounted in the headliner area, above the rear view mirror near the cabin lights. Check your owner's manual for the location on your car.

I think you hit it on the mark. These don't look like a home installation and the switch is where you describe it. Thank you for the insight. However, the fog lights don't seem to be working either and I'm guessing that the fog lights and high beams are on the same circuit. As a former 'road warrior', I know I would never use both at the same time. When I got the car, it came with all the original things like the inflator hose (I know that came up once in the forum) but not the manual.
I may have to break down and take it into a mechanic or someone with far superior skills than mine. Thanks again for the information. This really is a great site.
