Going to replace front wheel bearing hubs 1999 Cav. old hubs don't have seals anywhere, new hubs came with seal and "O" ring. Can't see where these would go. Cannot see how seal would fit in housing from behind or in front are they for some other model?

yes ,on some models, the seal goes between the knuckle and the hub bearing assembly
most models didn't need those extra stuff the aftermarket put in the box
the hub bearing assembly already has a seal on it & my factory service manual for a 97 model is similar to your vehiclehttp://econtent.autozone.com:24999/znetcs/product-info/en/US/tim/513017K/image/6/

Everyone fails... YAYE!!
Here is how you re-assemble everything..
Wheel/hub bearing -->Rubber seal-->Steering knuckel-->Rear seal and bearing grease --> CV shaft
Yes the sealed bearing has a seal on it, but there should have been the same one that comes in the box back there. Yet one of the many reason why these are failing prematurely.. Another score for a negative GM design flaw.
