The game is lagging far behind GT3 for numerous reasons
1. There is a smaller selection of cars- and good ones at that
2. The handling and physics aren't quite up to the levels of GT3
3. More aftermarket parts in GT3
4. GT3 has better tracks for my sort of driving
5. GT3 still has smoother graphics despite the XBox's superior graphics chip
6. GT3 is bout 30 Euros cheaper
there are more benefits that I haven't listed- but you get the picture..........

Gran Turismo 3: The reason everyone should buy a PS2, oh, that and GTA 3 and GTA Vice City.

Yes but remember that SEGA GT 2002's physics are based directly on the manufacturer's specifications.

I just got a PS2 and GT3 A spec. its good. i didnt doubt that, but there are a couple tiny problems with it. tire grip. maybe i have the car to stiff or something? it seems that i just cant get cornering grip over around 80 mph+. so far ive had a Toyota Apex that I upgraded and sold. now i have a Honda S2000 fully upgraded , except the NA tunes, which actually take power away from that car. top speed for it is about 220mph. 0-400m in 11.6 not to bad
