2007 cruise control

Hi, I have a 2007 Grand Prix base model with 60k on it. Just yesterday the cruise stopped working. I checked the cruise fuse and it is good. The manual suggest that if cruise doesn't work then brake fluid could be low. I checked my fluid and its good. Does anyone have any ideas, the car displays no warning messages and even when the car is started and all the little symbols light up on the dash the cruise lights up, but when I get up to speed and try to set cruise it doesn't engage and no light comes on. Thanks.

Although you checked the fuse is 12 volts present at the fuse socket. You may need to get it scanned with a GM Tech 2 scan tool and see any any diagnostic codes are stored meaning a trip to the GM dealership.
