Cruise Control question

1999 Regal GS, 215,000km. Sometimes when using the cruise, it will just disengage itself. Sometimes it will do it a couple times within 5 minutes, other times it'll not do it for hours on end. Obviously not a big deal, but just curious as to if there may be a easy fix. Only code in the car is P0442, and I know that shouldn't be causing an issue with the cruise. (I don't think)
