At first I notice that I needed a wheel aligment. But a few day ago I put my car in reverse and the front tires sounded like they were rubbing on something. For a while I was noticing a clump sound on my passendger side. I also noticeI have a lot of play in the steering wheel........

Could this just bad alignmnet or wheel bearing...........

You are not being very discriptive. Unfortunately, you will need to climb under there and take a look. The rack could be messed up, the control arms... yada yada. Fact of the matter is; you are going to need to do some investigating. No one will be able to just magically make you problems go away. If you want help you will have to put in effort.

OK. Today I went to make a left turn and the car would not steer to the left. Then as I got down the block I notice the steering wheel was actually able to do a 360 with out actually. I was only able to steer to the right. And when I go to my destination I saw steer fluid leaking from the bottom

Sounds to me like the steering rack is busted. If the hoses were just leaking it would only be harder to steer and eventually the pump would get messed up. But if you are turning and it's not turning its either the rack or tie rods. Since you see fluid leaking I would say your rack is toast. Try getting one rebuilt from an aftermarket place. You can still get it rebuilt at a dealer if you choose to have genuine parts. I would double check to make sure it's gone.

Thanks for the added info... that made it a ton easier. Sorry about your luck.

Yeah on my way home yesterday for some reason I started thinking of this post. Basically how it would suck to need to make a turn while driving fast and it not turning.

Based on your description the steering rack has to be busted.

What year is your malibu? about three years ago there was a manufacture notice sent out to 97-01 owners to repair faulty steering boxes. we receieved this but never did anytihg about it. so far we've been lucky I guess.
