Rear Brakes Stuck?

Went to back the grand prix out of the garage this AM. Sounded like the rear brakes were locked up. I checked the parking brake and it was off. Reverse sounded like a grinding noise. When I drove it around the block it sounded like the brakes were applied or something. It drove fine yesterday and I parked it overnight. It did have some body work done this weekend but I drove it home from the shop.

Tonight I am going to remove the calipers and see if I can compress the brake.

You guys have any ideas?

That sounds like a good course of action. When was the last brake job done?

I found the rear driver side coil spring had snapped and was rubbing on the inside of the tire. I found a local used strut and spring and switched the old spring out with the new/used.
