I am going to be doing the brakes and rotors on my 98 mountaineer. I am going to be doing all four rotors and brakes. Is there anything special that I need to know before going into this? It is an all wheel drive mountaineer I have done brakes on cars but have never done them on trucks at all, is there any difference between them? Also do I have to replace the shoes for the parking break or does that work with the regular pads?

The parking brake shoes are separate from the regular pads. You should open the bleeders when compressing the calipers. Also consider flushing the brake fluid with fresh stuff.
