ok last week my belt snapped and it got locked up in my timing belt. so i went ahead and changed the belt, water pump and oil pump. i lined up everything but when i try to start it it, well doesnt. it sounds like it doesnt have compression. the cam gears r linedup right, and im pretty sure the crank is to..but if yall could find me a detailed picture of the markes i needa line up to on the crank, id appreciate it alot. also. could i have bent a valve??? my dad says i could have when the belt locked up. any help would be appreciated, thanks guys

It sounds you like you dont have compression because you probably dont. Snapped timing belt 99% of the time = bent valves. Most likely all 12 intake valves are bent.

thats the thing, the timing belt never snapped. my power steering belt snapped and got hung up in my timing belt, and the engine locked. would that still bend the valves. i changed the timing belt just cause btw

Yep. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. Power steering idler seized, caused the power steering belt to shred and it wrapped around the crank pulley and stopped his engine dead.
All 12 intake valves were toast.

There is a dot on the crank gear and an arrow thing on the oil pump. When you line it up you want to the dot 1 tooth counter clockwise (if I remember right) so when you pull the pin on the hydraulic tensioner than it pulls it one tooth up and all the marks line up.

Like I said, its almost a guarantee you did.
Pull it apart and go from there. It would probably be worth it to change the valve guide seals while you have it apart.

It very well may be. 3 angle valve job, fresh valves and valve seals, maybe get 99 lifters if you havent already.
You'll have a brand new top end.
