My daughter's 2005 Town & Country Touring has a passesngers side door that doesn't open or close properly on Automatic or with the remote. Closes to within the last inch or soe, but doesn't lock up, opens a bit but not entirely. I'll assume an ajustment--anyone got some insight?
Thanks

the wiring harness track on the bottom on the door always goes bad on them. unclip the harness and inspect all wires.if necessary take a screwdriver and start pulling wires from the protective track. If a wire is broken it will come off.

Wiring sounds good. The door is moving just not all the way as it should. Could be a weak drive motor/corroded connections, dirty track, misalignment. No help on the latter.

I have had this exact problem with both doors on my 2005 T&C twice on each door, once under warrenty and one out for each of them. It was the wiring, what happens is when the door is open the wire is straight and the broken pieces make contact, but when it bends as they close the gap opens. I repaired them myself as the other person described. It is a crummy design.

if the latch sense wire is open it wont close the door all the way.If you have acess to a good scanner you can look at all the latch and switch position when you are opening/closing the door. You could also look into the inhibit monitors.
