help needed!

So I have 2 problems with my 1990 Honda accord lx and here they are:

1. My spedometer seems to want to stop working and then my s light starts to blink and other times it's perfectly fine, if anyone has advice please let me know.



2. I can't seem to get to my front rotors, I kind of need a walk through for that, spent a couple hours with some buddies trying to figure it out and ended up having to replace a calibur (a newbie mistake)




I purchased this Honda from a guy not too long ago and am trying to fix any mechanical problems before I move on to the interior and such.



If anyone can help that would be great.
