I have a 1994 S-10 4.3 cpi it has 86,000 miles on it. Runs great when cold for about 30min. Then it has no power when it gets hot at 1800-2700rpm. If you keep runing it, it will die and not start for a few min. There is no fuel pressure when hot and no codes. It will run on starting fluid when it dies. I have put 2 new GM fuel pumps in it, fuel filtter, plugs, cap, rotter, map sensor, IAC, and "cleaned" cat. out. It has been to 3 different shops for advice and is at the GM shop right now, kicking there butt. They pulled the tank out again and ran fuel pump for 1.5 hours it worked with no trouble. I have done all the work above to this point and took it to them out of frustration. Any advice would be greatly appreicated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. The exhast and fuel lines are all stock and have not been messed with. I am unsure if it is computer troubles.

Got it back from shop today. They put a 3rd new GM pump in it and hose clamps on the little rubber house that connects pump to meatel line and all is good. So if you replace the pump use hose clamps on it! It may save you alot of time and $$$$$!:screwy::iceslolan Thanks.

Was that on the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank....air binding the pump?
