I replaced both the axles in my wife's 97 civic dx, and now there is a vibration when I accelerate. Its not that bad, and only noticeable in like 2nd and 3rd gear. It is noticeable though, so I gotta fix it. I assume one of the axles is unbalanced, so is there a way to check? I was thinking of jacking the car up and lowering it onto one control arm, and then accelerating and seeing if it shakes. Is there anything else it could be after changing the axles, like maybe a bearing or something. She drive the car for quite a while after the boots had ripped before I changed the axles. I'd say about 2 years. the vibration wasnt there before, so I assume its the axle.

It happens. Get another set of axles they should be under warranty. Are they new or reman axles? We've had way to many problems with reman. We mostly use napa for axles.

The brand is Empi and they are brand new and not remanned. I'll see if I can't narrow it down to one side or the other and send it back. I bought it online to it kind of sucks that I'll have to run the old one with the ripped boot thought in the mean time.
